Offshore Wind


Optimus have been active in the offshore wind energy market for over nine years, commencing with the design of individual modules for substation platforms and building through to full detailed design of foundations, jackets and substation platforms. Wave Energy


Optimus have worked on a number of wave energy projects primarily as part of Wave Energy Scotland (WES) funded projects. Work to date has primarily been on Research and Development projects investigating aspects of early Wave Energy Converter (WEC) concepts utilising our advanced finite element analysis capability using ABAQUS software.
